"Balloon Buddies are Brightening the Lives of Seniors in Adopt-A-Grandparent Program"

NORTHFIELD, NJ - Laughter and shrills of joy were heard throughout the Meadowview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; as 105 Balloon Buddies were delivered on February 9th 2024, by Yonnie Colleluori, CBA.

The Adopt-A-Grandparent is a global initiative that brings joy to the oldest residents who are sometimes forgotten about. Community partners including local residents and businesses banded together to make sure all 105 residents were adopted. Then Colleluori got to work to start creating the balloon designs for the seniors.

Yonnie Colleluori, a Certified Balloon Artist, and owner of Sapphire Balloons And Events in Hammonton NJ, gave a demo to about 15 residents on what it means to be a professional balloon designer, and showed different techniques used to create spectacular designs.
