Traveling from Hammonton, New Jersey, to Hartford, Connecticut, for a large corporate rebranding event was an INCREDIBLE experience that showcased the power of collaboration and the artistry of balloon decor. As the owner of Sapphire Balloons and Events, I had the privilege of joining a talented team of ten balloon professionals from across the East Coast to assist Bobbie & Pat McAvoy of Amazing Balloon Decor to create an unforgettable visual transformation for The Hartford Insurance Company.
A Unified Effort
The team assembled for this monumental task was no ordinary group; we are part of a collective mastermind under the expert guidance of Joette Giardina, the renowned Balloon Coach. I met everyone for the first time at the Balloon Boss Summit in Florida last year, where I earned my Certified Balloon Artist designation. This summit was a pivotal moment in my career, connecting me with like-minded professionals and elevating my skills to new heights.
The Project
Rebranding a major corporation like The Hartford required meticulous planning and execution as well as 50+ hours if labor. The project involved creating large-scale balloon installations that would reflect the company’s new image and message. From intricate helium bouquets to a bright bubbly organic arch and columns, each piece needed to be precise and impactful.
Team Dynamics
The journey to Hartford was filled with anticipation and excitement. Working alongside professionals I admired and had learned from was everything I hoped it would be. We tackled challenges together, shared ideas freely, and supported each other every step of the way. Bobbie's leadership was instrumental in guiding us through the process ensuring that every detail was perfect.
